Dagnelies Flugel in Eb   c.1879

This is a  Eb Tenor Flugel (or bell-forward Solo Alto) by D. Dagnelies of Charleroi France.  Dagnelies made brass instruments in Charleroi from 1874-1901.  Of particular note is the valve cluster - which is to the left of the bell and all other tubing.     This alto flugel employs a tuning bit in the leadpipe and does not have a waterkey - making it more likely an earlier configuration. It is 18 incheslong and has a 7.5 inch bell. (Please disregard the incorrect mouthpiece shown - an alto mpc fits correctly)
