Otto Pollter Flugel in Bb   c.1895

This oval shaped Bb rotary valve flugel was made by Otto Pollter in Leipzig c.1895. Pollter was known as a Trombone specialist and exhibited in Vienna in 1900.  This flugel plays beautifully. It is a similar shape to te "Khulu flugels" used in  churches in the late 19th century.
