Early Hunting Horn - c.1800

This is a pocket hunting horn measuring only 8 inches accross from bell to mouthpiece. It is tapered over its full length.   The double coil inwards and back out again is done perfectly with only one joint about 9" from the bell flare. This design is based on a  hunting horn designed by a hunt master named Clewint from the 1700's.  It is especially well suited to safe storage in a pocket during a strenuous fox hunt!
