Silver Bugle by Potter  c. 1880

This is a rather battered solid nickle silver Bugle made by George Potter & Co of Aldershot. He was younger  brother of Henry and William with all mading military band instruments  "by appointment to the War and India offices" from 1859 to  early 20th  Century.  The Potter family was known to be woodwind instrument makers since 1745.
