Circular Ballad Horn in F c.1920

This is a curious circular horn in the key of F - with the leadpipe accepting a French Horn mouthpiece.  The inscription on the bell is "Concertone" which was a trade name used for instruments imported from Czechoslovakia by Montgomery Ward in the period 1918-1939.  The horn plays sweetly and in modern pitch.   I suppose it could be called a Ballad or Vocal horn
