King - H.N. White Baritone in Bb   c.1927


This is a sweet playing  King Baritone made by the H.N. White Co. Cleavland Ohio c.1927.   Henderson N. White initially established a company in 1895 with C. H Berg as "White & Berg".  In  1894, White  collaborated  with trombonist Thomas H. King and by 1907 they were producing a full line of "King" band instrument known for their high quality.  Chris Charvat, the Great Grandson of H.N. White- the founder of the King family of instruments has created a website honoring H.N. White

This Baritone is 25 inches Tall with a 9 1/2" bell and is silver plated with a highly engraved bell (see photo below). The 2nd valve is stamped:
"King made by H,N. White Co. Cleve O. 108912"
