This 4 Valve Piccolo trumpet does not have a maker's name, but it was made in the late 20th century. Piccolo trumpets use the same mouthpiece but play one octave above the normal trumpet.  I have heard a piccolo do a creditable job playing the high clarinet part in a Dixieland jazz band!!
