Joh Michl & Sohn Tuba in F  c.1885

Johann Michl & Sohn was known as a stringed and woodwind maker as well as a brass Instrument maker in Grazlitz Bohemia from  1870 to c.1937. This 3 valve tuba is in the key of F . Note the straight "stovepipe" bell shape with minimal flare which is reminiscent of early Saxhorns.
