Frank Holton Eb Tuba c.1913

This is a early Frank Holton & Co,  Eb Bass made in Chicago in 1913. Despite its age, it's heavy silver plating is still intact,  and it plays beautifully with an amazing low end- with very clear pedal tones.   It has an 19 inch bell and stands 33 inches tall.  The bell is beautifully engraved as was the standard in the eary 1900s.  I acquired it in a trade for an old cornet.  I got the best of the deal!!
