Here are some of the ancient,
strange and/or wonderful instruments which I would dearly love to have
in my
own collection - but have been unable to locate - or which
are beyond my financial resources (mostly the latter).
I feel that anyone interested in early brass wind instruments should have an opportunity to see the origin of the species - or some of the wierder variations and permutations fabricated in later days. These images have therefore been 'borrowed' from other collections (and from eBay) and form the real "cyber section" of my collection (at least I don't need so much Brasso!).
