English Brass Field KitchenWhen an 19th
century English colonial family went for an outing- they did not fare
on sandwiches and cold food. They took along cooks,
houseboys and other staff so they could have their 'proper' luncheon of
hot curries, rice;, chappaties, steamed veggies, etc.. To cook
all this, all that was needed was the single brass field kitchen below
which, when disassembled, provided the following
implements: 2 large cooking pots; one cover; 3 smaller cooking
pots; one frying pan; 3 hot pot handles; three pewter plates; 2 steamer
trays; and a iron stove. All pots are tinned on the inside so to
ensure the food did not taste of brass.
