Yuan Dynasty 3 Leg Elephant Wine VesselThis
unusual 3 legged Elephant Wine Vessel was reportedly dug up by a
farmer near Bejing and is attributed by the dealer to the Yuan
Dynasty (c1200) but is in the style of the Anyang period (c.1000
BC). The top of the vessel consisting of the head and trunk and
back lifts off, and the tail is used as a handle. Both top and base are
highly decorated all over. I believe this piece is actually
early Ching Period (18th Century), but in any case it is most
unusual and very decorative . Measurements: 12" x 9" x 6"
