18c Bronze Bhuddah HandThis remarkable bronze was
found in a small antique shop in Chaing Mai, Thailand.
Unfortunately it probably was broken off a large bronze statue.
The hand is chubby- almost in the style of Botero, the Spanish
painter. The finger placement is a typical Bhuddah "peace"
gesture. The workmanship and detail is extraordinary-probably dating to
mid 18th Century.
