Bedouin Copper Cooking
Pot 19th c.This
is an old Bedouin cooking pot which still bears the signs of long time
use in the camp fires. Under the baked on carbon and tarnish,
there is a beautifully hammered copper cooking vessel with the
traditional shape of an Arabic pot used by tribal peoples of the
Sultanate of Oman. The pot is 19.5 inches in diameter and 12 inches
high. It could be 19th century or even earlier (scroll down for
additional views). It is a truly unique item which can be
used in a decorator sense or when cleaned up, for cooking up your pet
goat!!
