This is a large hammered brass cooking pot found in a remote village the Sultanate of Oman.  It measures 17 inches in diameter and is 8 inches tall. It feature two  fixed brass handles and a old repair at the bottom done with copper rivits. It  normally would have been tinned inside.  It is a great decorator piece and has been used to display magazines.
