These are a pair of old copper cooking pots forund in a small remote villiage in the Sultanate of Oman. They are both well encrusted with  baked on carbon from the camp fires and are tinned in the inside to avoid the taste of copper in the food.  They nest together to save space on journeys.  These copper pots are truly rare as they have long been replaced with aluminum and stainless steel neither of which distribute heat as evenly and these lovely antique vessels.
