This is a large (15" diameter; 11" Tall) solid copper cooking pot  from Arabia.  It features heavy iron rings on both sides and is tinned on the inside to avoid the taste of the copper in the food.  It was likely  used around campfires for many decades. 

It would make a great decorator item - holding a plant or magazines, etc
