This beautiful carpet is very fine -with over 250 KPSI. There are 8 clusters of flowers (roses?) on a gold color field. The main border has further curvilinear flowers and leaves. The wool is very soft  and has a lovely patina.  The floral guls were made primarily for export to Europe where they were considered most desireable.  The name "Gul Franki" means French Gul
