This is a superb older Qashgai main carpet features the traditional Qashgai horse head design which is rarely seen in recent years. The horsehead motif is seen at the corners of the central square medallian as well as in the corners of the main field which is a rich burgundy covered with small 3 blossom flower sprays. The corners of the carpet carry the traditional Qashgai medallian and more flowers. There are 5 borders, with inside border defining the main field.  The carpet is in perfect condition with no repairs. It has a thick even pile and lies flat.  This is a rare carpet for a really low price.
