Seijour Soumak - of exceptional quality in terms of the workmanship and
use of color. It was made in the Azirbaijani Agjabedi District. It
features the traditional opposing Dragons motifs on a brick
red field. There are stylized horse figures in corners and four bird
(or insect) figures in center. Main border is a repeating hexagonal
medallian with differing colors. A soumak kelim of this
quality is truly rare.
