| Mazlaghan is located in the northern
province of Iran known as Zanjan, which means ´dear wife´.
The center white medallian incorporates a series of stylized dragon heads
and is situated on a burgundy field with a surrounding meandering vine
with multi-colored leaves. The four corners have colorful geometric
flowers on a dark blue field. The primary border is a typical Caucasian
motif of alternating wineglass and oak leaf design. The wool is particularly
soft and the colors are rich.
