While living overseas in Asia and the Middle East,  I accumulated a large collection of tribal oriental carpets with a plan  to establish an Oriental Carpet Shop when I retired in 1999.  However, due to a back injury in 2002, I am no longer able to get down on the floor to roll up a carpets and have to rely on my good wife and kids to help me!  I therefore must liquidate my collection - mostly through people finding this website.

The following selected carpets from my collection are offered for sale at very special prices as noted on the individual pages.  My prices are based on my original acquisition cost - not the current market value - so if I negotiated a good price when I bought the carpet,  I pass that good deal on to you (often at below my cost!).

On my Pile Carpets page and Kelim Page I  display several of my most favorite carpets in my collection. Most have not been listed on this sale page. However, a friend of mine quipped "who are you kidding Phil, all of your carpets are for sale!!.  He is right of course. If I am truly going to reduce my inventory, all carpets must be for sale. So humor me a bit and also look at my favorites and antiques as well!  Please note that offers on any carpet in the entire collection will be seriously considered!

My prices do not include shipping and handling..  Most will be shipped by UPS at less than $40 for the continental USA.  I will ship overseas by UPS.
