keeping with my objective of
collecting mostly valved instruments, I have listed here mostly valve
trombones (with a couple of exceptions). I have
also
included two modern slide cornet / trumpets (called soprano
sacbuts before 1800). Click here for a chart of early

Praetorius in 1700s.
